Authorities Jail Big Lake Man After Drug Bust

BIG LAKE -- A Big Lake man was arrested on a handful of charges following a drug investigation by the Sherburne County Drug Task Force.

Officers used a search warrant at a home in Big Lake Friday where they allegedly found marijuana, cash and a handgun.

Police arrested 26-year-old Marcellus Sowell on charges of being a felon in possession of a gun, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and 5th degree sale of a controlled substance.

Authorities seized a handgun, drugs and $871 cash.

Sowell was booked into the Sherburne County Jail awaiting arraignment on the charges.
