BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) - Authorities have identified the 3-year-old girl who was pulled from an apartment pool in Brooklyn Park.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office said Thursday that Corrianah Allure Wright died of apparent drowning early Monday.

Corrianah had been swimming in the pool with other children Sunday when she went under. Her death remains under investigation.

A report says the girl was under the county's protective supervision. It said police removed the girl and her six siblings from their home last November after one of the children was found with severe injuries that could not be explained by the parents. That 1-year-old injured child was placed in foster care. The remaining children were returned home with protective supervision.
