I'm a 1996 graduate of St. Cloud State University, and have been with WJON for over 19 years as a news reporter and anchor.  I am also the co-host of a sports talk show called Granite City Sports on AM 1390 KXSS.  While news is my business, sports are my love.  I am a big fan of the Vikings, Twins, Gopher's basketball, the Wolves, Wild and St. Cloud State Hockey.  My favorite pastimes include snowmobiling, golfing and sand volleyball.

Woman Sentenced in Overdose Death

A Stearns County judge has agreed to a lesser sentence for a woman who provided the drug responsible for killing a man despite prosecutors' objections. Judge Sarah Hennesy sentenced 36-year-old Amy Lauer to seven years in prison but Lauer won't serve any of the prison time if she abides by the proabtion set forth for the next 25 years.

Man Charged With Choking St. Cloud Taxi Driver Because of Bias [VIDEO]

A Willmar man is accused of choking a St. Cloud taxi driver because he is Muslim. A criminal complaint filed in Benton County shows 23-year-old Zachary DeGraw is charged with assault motivated by bias and two counts of 5th degree assault.
