St. Cloud Area Will Be Well Represented at State Gymnastics Meet
Both the St. Cloud Crush and Melrose Area have qualified for the team gymnastics state meet. The team competition starts Friday with individuals Saturday. The Crush consists of Tech, Apollo, Cathedral and Sauk Rapids-Rice students.
St. Ben’s Basketball Marches On in MIAC Playoffs
The St. Ben's basketball team won at Bethel 72-69 in the MIAC women's basketball tournament quarterfinals Tuesday night. The Bennies were led by Carla Meyer with 22 points and Megan Morgan added 18 points for St. Ben's.

Car Dealerships Revisited; Sauk Rapids Edition
Oakland Pontiac was located at 2 Broadway Avenue North in Sauk Rapids. Broadway Avenue is now Benton Drive. Oakland Pontiac was located where Lost Times Tavern is now. Grabinski says that location used to be many things after it was a car dealership.
Sartell Boys Hockey Has Sights Set on a Section Title
The Sartell-St. Stephen boys hockey team has won 3 straight Central Lakes Conference championships and has their sights set on winning the Section 8-2-A title in 2024.

Cathedral-Sartell finished 13th in the 2-day Nordic Ski State Event in Biwabik. A team from Cathedral-Sartell finished 11th out of 24 teams in the Sprint Relay race at the State Nordic Ski meet.

St. Cloud Real Estate Market Looking Up Despite Interest Rates
Interest rates have been on the rise throughout the nation and that includes the St. Cloud area real estate market. Craig Ehrlichman from Premier Real Estate Services joined me on WJON. He says the average sale price in the market is at $285,000, closed sales are up 14.1%, and new listings on the market are up with about 98 properties current on the market.
Results From Minnesota DNR’s Hunting Incident Report
The Minnesota DNR has released its hunting incident report and the numbers from 2023 don't look bad. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON. He says in total there were 11 reported incidents and no fatalities.
