The Twins will play the fourth game of their five-game series in Chicago Wednesday night. Ervin Santana will start for Minnesota opposite Chicago's James Shields. First pitch is slated for 7:10 on AM 1240 WJON.
The late rally in game one carried over into game two, with Polanco and Dozier each hitting three-run home runs in the top of the second inning to pace the win. Dillon Gee picked up the victory for Minnesota with six innings of one run, two hit ball.
Bartolo Colon picked up the win for the Twins and became just the third active pitcher (John Lackey and Max Scherzer being the others) to defeat all 30 MLB teams. Colon went six innings and allowed four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six.
The St. Cloud Rox returned home from Battle Creek Sunday morning to a large group of fans celebrating their championship at the MAC. The Rox defeated the Battle Creek Bombers Saturday night to capture their first Northwoods League championship.
St. Cloud will travel to Battle Creek, Michigan for game two Friday night. If necessary, game three will be played Saturday in Battle Creek as well. Both games can be heard on AM 1390 Granite City Sports.
