Royalton School Upgrades-Expansion Remain on Schedule
Royalton students will be heading back to school a week later than usual this fall. Superintendent Jon Ellerbusch says they approved the later start last winter so crews would have more time to finish some updates to their buildings.
St. Cloud District Receiving Over $1 Million in Preschool Funding
Over $1 million is coming from the state to the St. Cloud Area School district for preschool programs this upcoming school year. The District will receive $1,005,160 for an estimated 150 pre-k students.
Olympic Sports: Judo is Growing in St. Cloud [VIDEO]
Judo was first included as an Olympic sport in 1964, during the summer Olympics in Japan. Matt Lagou teaches Judo and Jiu Jitsu at the Downtown Gym in St. Cloud and says the sport has been picking up steam locally with the Rio Olympics.

A Freeport man was involved in a two vehicle crash on Friday night that left a West Fargo man seriously hurt. The crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. on Highway 10 in Otter Tail County, south of Frazee.
Teen Hurt in Morrison County Water Tubing Incident
A 17-year-old girl was hurt while she was tubing on a Morrison County Lake on Friday. The incident happened on Lake Shamineau just before 1:30 p.m.
District 742 Primary: 9 Running For 4 School Board Seats
Nine candidates are vying for four open seats on the St. Cloud area school board. The primary election is on Tuesday and the top eight vote getters will move on to the general election in November.
Racing Pigs Steal The Show at Benton County Fair [VIDEO]
Racing pigs were "hamming it up" for Benton County fairgoers on Wednesday afternoon.
"The pigs see me pulling up in the trailer and they get excited and start squealing. They know they get a chance to get out and run: they enjoy running," L.A. Pig Racing Show owner Gary Dauer says.
