Cold Spring-Richmond Police See Slight Uptick in 2014 Calls and Traffic Stops

The Cold Spring-Richmond Police department saw a slight increase in calls and recorded traffic stops last year. The department responded to 5,189 calls for service or self-created incidents last year compared to 4,099 in 2013.

St. Cloud Somali Leader: “The Community Needs Long Term Change”

Somali leaders and St. Cloud school officials are working together to try and make their schools more welcoming to all cultures. Tensions are high after a group of about 100 Somali students protested outside of Tech High School on Wednesday.

Superintendent Jett Releases Statement on Tech High School Protest

St. Cloud Area School District Superintendent Willie Jett says they are working to ensure students of all cultures feel welcome in their schools. Jett released a statement on Thursday afternoon in response to protests outside of Tech High School on Wednesday.
