St. Cloud Police Looking For Suspects After Southside Gunshots

Officers are looking for suspects after gunshots in St. Cloud on Wednesday night. The incident happened just after 7:20 p.m. when officers were called to a report of gunshots in the 800 block of 14th Avenue South. Officers arrived and eventually found a vehicle in the 800 block alley between 14th and 15th Avenue South that had gunshot damage.

UPDATE: Police Arrest One Suspect Involved in St. Cloud Car Vandalism

St. Cloud Police have arrested the primary suspect who allegedly damaged 10 vehicles in town. At 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, a St. Cloud Police Sergeant recognized 21-year-old Noah Farrell of St. Cloud as the suspect from the surveillance video, having recently dealt with him on an unrelated matter.

Area Sheriff’s Departments Ramping up Labor Day Holiday DWI Enforcement

With the Labor Day holiday fast approaching, area Sheriff's Departments are stepping up their DWI enforcement. Extra patrols will be out August 21st through September 7th. The extra DWI enforcement is part of a statewide effort with over 300 law enforcement agencies in the state.

St. Cloud Police are looking for two suspects after 10 vehicles were vandalized in town. The incidents happened in two different locations early on Sunday morning. The vandalism involved vehicles being hit with a large object, smashing the windows and causing body damage.

It's a big week for St. Cloud State University as new students pile into their dorm rooms on Thursday. It's also unique in that SCSU has added two extra days for orientation and freshmen welcome activities. In prior years, students didn't move in until Saturday.

Benton County Supports St. Cloud Airport Study

Benton County has approved a resolution to support a study to grow operations at the St. Cloud Regional Airport. The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation has taken the lead in asking the three-county area to support a resolution seeking a grant to fund the study.

SCSU Continuing to Emphasize Sexual Consent For Incoming Freshmen [VIDEO]

With freshmen moving into St. Cloud State University later this week, every new student will be required to complete an online program to educate them on dating violence and sexual assault. The University has had a new student sexual assault prevention program for over 20 years. The online course new students need to complete is called "Not Anymore".
