Rice Man Arrested After Allegedly Running From Police on Stolen Motorcycle

A Rice man was arrested on Saturday after allegedly running from police on a stolen motorcycle. Sartell Police say the incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. on Highway 15. An officer tried to stop a motorcycle for not having a working tail light.

Elementary Students Create Inventions at Talahi This Summer [VIDEO]

Over the past two weeks, elementary students have been learning how to create their own inventions at Talahi Community School. The students have been taking part in a program called Camp Invention. The program focuses on STEM (Science, technology, engineering and math) and encourages kids to imagine and create their own inventions.

Two Arrested in Becker For Allegedly Threatening Someone With BB Gun

Two people were arrested in Becker on Tuesday after allegedly threatening someone with a BB gun. Becker Police responded to a report that a gun was pointed at another person. An officer found the suspects in a vehicle in the 12000 block of Stevens Avenue with two replica BB guns in plain view.

Six people were taken to the hospital after a two car crash near St. Stephen on Tuesday morning. The incident happened just after 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 131 and 115th Avenue in Brockway Township, two miles northwest of St. Stephen.

Summer Reading Program Bus Delivering Books to Children in Need [VIDEO]

Thanks to a partnership and $15,000 gift from the St. Cloud Rotary Club, LEAF was able to expand its parents and kids reading aloud together (PAKRAT) program into the summer. The program gives books to kids who lack access to them in preschool through third grade.

Months After Tech Protest, Students Working Together to Improve Area Schools

On March 25th, over 100 students, mostly Somali, walked out and protested outside of Tech High School. Over three months later, the protest is still sparking conversations between students, teachers and district officials on how to improve conditions in St. Cloud area schools.

Car Totaled After Sauk Centre Woman Tries to Avoid Squirrel on Road

A vehicle rolled in Todd County yesterday morning after a woman tried to avoid hitting a squirrel in the road. The Todd County Sheriff's Office says Teri Terwilliger of Sauk Centre was traveling east on County Road 2, just past County Road 99, when a squirrel came from the shoulder of the road.

Two Arrested After Fight in South St. Cloud

Two people were arrested after a fight in St. Cloud early Thursday morning. The incident happened just after 1:30 a.m. St. Cloud Police say 24-year-old Brandon Fox from Andover and 25-year-old Michael Engelhaupt of St. Cloud were fighting in the 100 Block of 4th Avenue South.
