I’m 26 years young and the oldest of five kids in my family. I went to Apollo High School and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in broadcast journalism. When I told my parents that I wanted to be in radio, I don’t think they were surprised. My mom swears that I started talking when I was six months old and never stopped (sure I did mom). I love everything about media. For that reason, I went to school for TV journalism, worked as a news reporter for a few years and hosted weekend shows on two of our sister stations. I left radio for six short months to be the media relations specialist at College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. But, you know what they say, “you can take the girl out of radio but you can’t take radio out of the girl.” I’m back and so excited to be living out my dream every day. I have a massive crush on Billy Currington. Billy, if you see this consider it a serious marriage proposal.
