Aurelia A. Fuchs, 96, Paynesville

March 20, 1919 - June 1, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Aurelia A. Fuchs, age 96, of Paynesville, who passed away on June 1, 2015 at the Paynesville Hospital. Reverend Glenn Krystosek will officiate. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery in Paynesville.
Family and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville.

Aurelia was born on March 20, 1919 in Marion, North Dakota to John and Christine (Hemmesch) Fischbach. She married Ernest J. Fuchs on May 30, 1944 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Lake Henry. She worked at Good Samaritan (Washburn Court) for 27 years. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and Christian Woman.

Aurelia enjoyed quilting and embroidery, as well as baking Kuchenbrot bread for family gatherings. She had a strong devotion to her faith and always had a smile. Aurelia loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Jenny Sundberg and Joey Foxx, great grandchildren, Blake and Hunter Sundberg; daughter-in- law, Sheryl Foxx; sisters, Doris Hess, Arlene Raeker; sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Jean Fischbach; and many nieces and nephews.

Aurelia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; son, Gerald; brothers, Clarence, Harold, Ralph, Vernon, Nick, and Jerome.
