ATV With No Lights Struck by Jeep In Meeker County

GROVE CITY - A Litchfield man is hospitalized after the ATV he was riding was struck by a Jeep.

The State Patrol says 50-year-old Arthur Meisenbach was going west on Highway 12 in Grove City. He had no lights on the ATV. Meanwhile a Jeep driven by 27-year-old John Hoeper of Spicer was also going west and rear ended the four wheeler.

Meisenbach was taken to HCMC with non life-threatening injuries. Alcohol was detected in his system.

Hoeper's Jeep rolled after impact. He was not hurt.

The incident happened at about 11:45 p.m. last (Tuesday) night.
