SUV Driver That Crashed Into St. Katherine Drexel School Dies

ST. CLOUD –The driver of the SUV that crashed into a St. Cloud school died after suffering a medical condition.

Around 2:40 p.m. police were called to a crash at St. Katherine/ Drexel School.

Police say the the driver left the road and traveled anouther block before the SUV struck the school.

There were four adults in the school room during the crash. None of them were injured.

 The building was evacuated after enough damage to pose a safety concern.

Police say multiple life saving efforts were made on the man to no avail.

The name of the driver is being withheld until the police can notify the family.
