FREEPORT -- Three people are hurt after a two-vehicle crash on I-94 on Friday night.

The crash happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. near Freeport.

A truck being driven by 45-year-old John Howieson of Verndale was traveling east on Interstate 94, west of Freeport in the left lane.

A van driven by 40-year-old Brent Fournier of Sauk Centre was also traveling east.

Howieson was slowing for traffic and was rear-ended by Fournier. The crash caused eastbound traffic from milemarker 140 to the Albany exit to be delayed several hours.

Fournier has serious injuries from the crash. Howieson and his passenger, 37-year-old Mechelle Howieson have non-life threatening injuries.
