The Clemens Library at the College of St. Benedict is currently hosting a most unusual display - five 400 to 800 pound bales of recyclable paper and plastic. The project is called "Is it Art? Is it Trash? Is it Sustainable?" The goal is to use the visually intriguing bales of materials to educate the campus and community about the amount of work it takes to recycle our everyday items, and encourage less waste.

The colorful bales of recyclables will be displayed in the library for the next month. The exhibit will formally open Thursday, Feb. 10th at 4:30 p.m. in the Clemens Library.

WJON's Abby Faulkner caught up with St. Ben's staff member Adam Konczewski, who created the project, over at the library, to take a closer look.
