DARLING -- Morrison County authorities are investigating a church fire believed to be intentionally set.

A call came in just before 3:20 a.m. Friday morning indicating a fire at the Darling Church located on Highway 10 north of Little Falls. Deputies arrived to find the church fully engulfed.

Crews from the Randall Fire Department were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the wood line but the church is considered a total loss.

Sheriff Shawn Larsen says they believe the fire was arson and the State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating.
