DARLING -- Morrison County authorities are investigating a church fire believed to be intentionally set.

A call came in just before 3:20 a.m. Friday morning indicating a fire at the Darling Church located on Highway 10 north of Little Falls. Deputies arrived to find the church fully engulfed.

Crews from the Randall Fire Department were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the wood line but the church is considered a total loss.

Sheriff Shawn Larsen says they believe the fire was arson and the State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating.

The Minnesota Arson Reward Project is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. If you have information, you're asked to call the arson hotline at 1-800-723-2020 or the sheriff's office at 320-632-9233.
