PLYMOUTH, Minn. (AP) - Plymouth authorities say a playground fire that caused an estimated $200,000 in damage appears to have been intentionally set.

The fire was reported Friday about 2 a.m. at Plymouth Creek Park. The damage included new playground equipment worth between $80,000 and $130,000. Police say none of the equipment could be salvaged.

No one was injured in the blaze. Authorities are investigating the case as apparent arson.

City staff say it will take at least a month to get replacement equipment.
