Arrest Made in Shopko Pharmacy Robbery

ST. JOSEPH – Investigators have arrested a man they believe is responsible for robbing the Shopko Pharmacy.

Thirty-six year old Alan Habiger was arrested on Friday afternoon in St. Joseph.  He’s accused of robbing the Shopko West Store in St. Cloud on April 4th.  In that incident the suspect got away with Oxycontin.

A series of search warrants on Friday also resulted in authorities seizing numerous guns including to assault rifles and three handguns.  Methamphetamine was also found in Habiger’s vehicle.

Officials are looking into several other pharmacy robberies that have happened in the area in the past several months to see if they are connected.

The investigation was conducted by the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force.
