Arrest Made in Bomb Threat to Stearns County Courts

ST. CLOUD -- The Stearns County Sheriff's department has made an arrest in the case of the bomb threat made to the court's downtown facility last Thursday.

Sheriff John Sanner says they've arrested 25-year-old Nhat Ming Hoang Tran of St. Cloud.  Tran admitted to making the call, in an ill-fated attempted to have his female friends' court appearance cancelled.

The brief call was made at about 2:45 p.m. last Thursday to the Stearns County Administration Center main telephone line.  The threat did not disrupt the court's business that day.
