SARTELL - Sartell is gearing up for a weekend full of family fun.

Liberty Bank is kicking off the 25th annual Sartell Summerfest. Senior Vice President for Liberty Bank, Robin Gohman says the festivities begin Friday at 5:00 p.m. with the Libertyville event. Libertyville will have activities for kids and adults.

"We have inflatables, crazy hair dos, face painting, lots of fun stuff for families."

Libertyville will also have a dunk tank, to help raise money for kids programs as well as a 1K kids run.

"It's [the kids run] is going to happen at 6:00 p.m. [Friday]. It's right in the middle of the event so if you come and weren't prepared to do that but the kids decide they want to add that to the evening, it's very simple to do, the registration is right on site."

Liberty Bank wraps up their events with hosting the Summerfest Parade Saturday morning. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. with the route kicking off at Riverside Avenue and ending at Sartell Middle School.

After the parade, the Sartell Police Department will be hosting a bike safety rodeo in the city hall parking lot, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. the Great River Bowl and Partners Pub Street Dance begins in the Great River Bowl parking lot. Following the street dance, fireworks will begin at 10:00 p.m.

Blackberry Ridge Golf Club will also be having a Sartell Summerfest special, 18 holes with a cart for only $19.07. Sartell was founded in 1907.
