Area Residents Condemn Budget Cuts Affecting Individuals With Disabilities [AUDIO]

Area residents held a news conference to speak out against massive budget cuts affecting individuals with disabilities.

ARC Midstate hosted an information session and a series of testimonials.

This including two from individuals with disabilities whose group home funding would be affected if the cuts in Health and Human Services spending is made.

Steve Larson is the Public Policy director for ARC. He says the cuts are devastating.

Larson says people should fight these cuts by speaking out.

Arc is a nonprofit membership organization which works to ensure that individuals with developmental disabilities have fair access to human services.
