ARDEN HILLS (AP) - The man shot and killed at a Twin Cities area gas station has been identified as an executive of Boston Scientific, a medical device company.

Boston Scientific said in a statement that Kelly Phillips will be remembered for his great skills as a lawyer, but also for his kindness and gentleness.

Family members say the 48-year-old Minneapolis man was to be married in a few weeks. Phillips was shot Monday by another man after stepping out of their car at the Holiday gas station in Arden Hills.

Authorities have made no arrests.

Boston Scientific says Phillips was a vice president and general counsel and worked at the Arden Hills office, which is about two miles from the crime scene.
