ST. CLOUD - Expect to see more advertisements at the Apollo High School.

The school board has approved an agreement with the company the "Apollo Scoreboard Project" which will allow them to by new scoreboards and interior kiosks for the school, which will include space for ads. The district will also receive $10,000 cash per year through the 10-year agreement.  After the 10-year agreement, the district will get to keep the equipment.

The equipment that will be purchase by the advertising money will be worth about $350,000.

Superintendent Bruce Watkins says in these times of tight budgets, expect to see more partnerships like this one.

The district will have the final say on all ads that are sold for the new scoreboards and kiosks.
