Anti-bullying Advocate Holds Conference at SCSU

ST. CLOUD - Jamie Nabozny spoke to students at St. Cloud State University last night about his experience with bullies in Middle School and High School as an openly gay student.

Nabozny showed his 20-minute documentary “Bullied” and talked about how he fought back without the use of violence.

In 1996, with the help of Lamda Legal, he won a landmark federal lawsuit against his school administrators for what was considered a “lack of involvement.”

Last night’s anti-bullying conference is day two of a four-day “Global Social Responsibility” initiative at St. Cloud State that continues through Thursday.
