Another Phone Scam Reported in Central Minnesota

BROWERVILLE - Another phone scam is being reported in Central Minnesota.

The Todd County Sheriff's Office says they received the complaint on Monday.

Kathryn Motl of Browerville told authorities she had a phone call telling her she qualified for a $6,000 government loan which she wouldn't have to pay back. The scammer asked for her information and a small amount of money.

The Sheriff's Office says this is a scam and that you should never give out information to people you don't know on the phone.
