ST. CLOUD -- The Ghosts, goblins and monsters will be out in full swing tonight (Friday) at Lake George for the 6th annual Pumpkinfest.

The celebration is put on by St. Cloud Park and Recreation to provide safe halloween fun. Lynn Newman says there will be many family friendly activities.

"We will have trick-or-treat stations that will stretch from the splash pads to the lake, a petting zoo, hayrides, a pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting, we will also have a haunted house that isn't too scary for the kids," says Newman.

The event will run from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and starting at dusk they will show the movie Monsters University.

Newman says the event is free and invites everyone to come out in their halloween costumes.

"Don't forget your costumes. Kids, parents everyone is welcomed to dress up and come," says Newman.

Last year's event brought in over 5,000 people and Newman says they expect to reach that amount again.
