ST. CLOUD - 10 years ago, Jeff Keller's first charity golf tournament had four teams and raised around $50. He organized the event to collect donations to help offset the costs of cancer treatment for a chosen community member.

The tradition has continued, and each year, someone facing medical expenses has benefited from the growing tournament.

Keller says community word-of-mouth is how he picks his recipient.

Saturday's tournament at Oak Hill golf Course will have 22 teams and over 80 golfers.

The tournament goes from 8:00 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch, a prize giveaway and an auction of things donated by local companies at JP's in Sauk Rapids.
