BUFFALO (AP) - An Annandale man has been convicted of first-degree murder for killing another Annandale man and setting him on fire.

A Wright County jury returned the verdict Wednesday against 46-year-old Keith Rossberg.

The county attorney's office says Rossberg entered 63-year-old DeVan Hawkinson's on March 25 or 26 in 2001. Rossberg then allegedly shot Hawkinson six times in the back of the head with a .22-caliber pistol as Hawkinson sat in his chair in his living room.

Authorities say Rossberg then lit Hawkinson on fire in an attempt to destroy the crime scene.
