Anna “Ann” Catherine Jarvis, age 90, Rochester Hills, MI, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at Benedict Homes Memory Care, St. Cloud, MN.

There will be no services. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Ann was born January 30, 1926 in Detroit, MI to Michael and Anna (Siller) Rehling. She married Dixon Thayer Jarvis on March 2, 1946 in Detroit, MI. Ann was a wonderful mother and homemaker and also an accomplished painter and gardener.

Survivors include her husband, Dixon T. Jarvis of Rochester Hills, MI; daughter Shawn C. (Roland Specht-Jarvis) Jarvis of St. Cloud, MN; four grandchildren, Hillary and Thayer Wightman, Alex (Larissa) Jarvis and Elly Jarvis; and three great grandchildren, Julian, Ariadne and Redding.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Michelle Jarvis-Wightman, sisters, Eleanor (Vessie) Chadwick and Irene Aust, and brother, Carl Masson.

Memorials are preferred to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
