Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Anna Donnay, who died Thursday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta after a short battle with brain cancer. Rev. Mark Innocenti and Rev. Al Stangl will concelebrate and entombment will be at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud. Friends and relatives may call from 4-8PM Monday at the Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in St. Cloud and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at the church in St. Cloud. St. Michael’s Parish prayers will be at 5PM followed by Eagles Auxiliary #622 prayers at 6PM Monday at the funeral home.

Anna was born the youngest of thirteen kids in rural Cold Spring to Aloys L. & Anna B. (Dockendorf) Theisen. She married Charles “Chuck” Donnay on February 8, 1960 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. She and Chuck lived briefly in the metro area for one year and returned to central Minnesota and made their home in St. Cloud where they have lived for 53 years. She worked as a registered nurse for the VA medical Center in St. Cloud for 33 years. She is a charter member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud and is an auxiliary member of the Eagles Aerie 622 in St. Cloud. She and Chuck enjoyed traveling and took many bus trips over the years. She especially enjoyed her trip to Alaska. She was an avid reader and was well read.

Survivors include her husband Chuck of St. Cloud; children, Brian (Brenda) of St. Joseph; Lynn (Dennis) Robb of Reno, NV; daughter in law, Trista of St. Cloud; sisters and brothers, Merwina of Waite Park; Donald of Des Lacs, ND; Gerald of St. Joseph; Aloys of St. Cloud; LeRoy of St. Joseph; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael, brothers and sisters, Clarence, Adeline Kuechle, Joseph, Cordula, Walter, Kenneth and Roger.
