Animal Lovers Enjoy A Fun Day At The Pet Expo [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD -- Pet owners from around the area came out to have some fun and raise some money at the third annual St. Cloud Pet Expo today.

The expo featured several booths offering various services and merchandise, door prizes, and some pets available for adoption.

Cindy Harner and Cindy Helm have organized the event each year. They say the purpose of the event is to bring all the needs for pet owners under one roof in a fun event while raising money for the Tri-County Humane Society.

"Our main goal and objective was to partner with the Tri-County Humane Society, so a portion of the profits from today's event will go back...to help them," Harner says.

"We just kind of felt there was a need for the area to have this," Helm says. "And it's just a fun day for people to come together."

Harner and Helm say preparing for the event takes some work, but seeing the end result is rewarding.

"I just love the planning of the event and seeing it come together and seeing people have a good time," Helm says.

"Seeing all the people and the variety of animals that are here -- it's just fun," Harner says. "It's just a really fun family-filled day."
