UNDATED -- With Minnesota's fishing opener set for this Saturday, the DNR is reminding you of price increases that took effect this season.

Jenifer Wical is with the DNR's Division of Fish and Wildlife. She says the exception is a license for 16-and-17 year-olds. She says they've dropped that price to 5-dollars.

Wical says they've also added some new license options.

For a look at those new options and prices, log on to the DNR's website.
