Angeline (Angie) M. Workman died peacefully Wednesday morning at St. Benedict’s Center. Her deep faith carried her through a 19 month journey with cancer. She is now safely in heaven with the Lord and all her loved ones who have gone before her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, at 2PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1PM – 2PM prior to the memorial service. Burial will be at a later date in St. Boniface Catholic Church Parish Cemetery, Cold Spring.
Angie was born April 1, 1933 in Cold Spring, MN to Andrew and Martha (Michels) Hansen. She grew up in Cold Spring and graduated from St. Boniface Grade School and High School. Her fun loving spirit and great smile endeared her to all who knew her. Angie’s family and friends looked forward to her Christmas cookies each year and most returned the containers to be filled the next year. She also seemed to become the “cook” at family gatherings. On Christmas she played Santa Claus for her nieces and nephews.

Her three daughters, three grandchildren and great grandchild were the love of her life. In 1980 Angie became a primary caregiver to her daughter Sandra and was caring for Sandra until her strength failed her.
Angie is survived by her daughters, Carla Workman of St. Cloud, Sandra Workman of St. Cloud and Robin (Steve) Hoppe of Melrose; grandchildren, Samantha, Travis and Brady; great grandchild, Caiden; brothers and sisters, Adeline (Ray) Wolf, Donna (Patrick) O’Donnell, Andy (Kathy) Hansen all of Cold Spring, Rosy Erickson of Livingston, MT, James (Janet) Hansen of Minneapolis, Richard (Betty) Hansen of St. Cloud; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Hansen; and brother-in-law, Myron Erickson.
Angie was a loving and caring person and will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Benedict’s Center and the St. Croix Hospice who gave Angie such great care.
