UPDATE: Amendments in Trouble in Early Vote-Counting
In the very early vote-counting, the NOs are leading the YES votes for two statewide constitutional amendments.
With nearly 13% of the vote counted, the Marriage Amendment -- which would limit marriage to one man and one woman -- is losing roughly 57.5% to 42.5%.
A second amendment which would require voters to show a government-issued ID at the polls is also losing. With nearly 13% of the precincts counted, the NO votes lead the YES votes 55% to 45%.
