Alternative Pathways Law May Have Little Impact On Area Schools[AUDIO]

SARTELL — Governor Dayton has signed a law that creates a path into the teaching profession for nontraditional teachers and midcareer professionals.
However, the Superintendent of the Sartell-St. Stephen school district says his district won’t be impacted much by the new law. Joe Hill says they already have more than enough qualified applicants applying for all of their job openings.

Also, Hill says there has been fast-track programs for teacher development that already exist.
