Alleged Drug Dealer Tased, Arrested at St. Cloud Subway Restaurant [VIDEO]
ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud man was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly selling drugs at a Subway restaurant.
According to the criminal complaint a member of the Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force saw 32-year-old Shawn Jacobs working at a St. Cloud Subway and knew he had a warrant for a felony domestic assault charge committed back on May 12.
Police learned Jacobs was also in possession of a handgun and was selling drugs out of the restaurant, his car and his home.
When officers went to arrest Jacobs at the restaurant he resisted and ultimately was tased. A search of his work locker found two diazepam pills, and several boxes of ammunition.
Police also used a search warrant at Jacobs home where they found miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, a small amount of methamphetamine, more than 4 grams of THC, six doses of LSD and marijuana wax.
He was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail. Jacobs faces charges of being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition, and 5th degree possession of a controlled substance.
He also has prior convictions of domestic assault in 2008 and assault with a knife in 2013.
