Alexandria Woman Gives Gifts To Unsuspecting Children

ALEXANDRIA (AP) -- An Alexandria woman acts like Santa Claus all year long.

Bonnie Boe buys gifts and gives them to unsuspecting children. She's been doing it for about the last three years.

Boe doesn't have grandchildren of her own, so she buys gifts for other people's children while she's shopping.

She says she loves seeing the smile on a child's face when they receive gifts from a complete stranger.

Boe says she has a strict "stuffed animals only" policy. She thinks stuffed animals are "cuddly and sweet" and are the best gift for children.
