Aitkin To Hold 22nd Annual Fish House Parade

AITKIN (AP) - The northern Minnesota town of Aitkin celebrates the frigid weather with its annual fish house parade this week.

The Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 22nd annual "World Famous Fish House Parade," starting at 1 p.m. Friday.

The parade is held every year on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

This year's grand marshal is Miss Minnesota Rebecca Yeh, a 20-year-old from Nisswa.

As many as 60 entries have lined up in a single parade.

The first official Aitkin Fish House Parade was in 1991.
