Adeline Stanley age 90 of Princeton, MN passed away October 18, 2014 at the Elim Home in Princeton.

Adeline was born March 17, 1924 in Erickson Nebraska to Bert & Margaret (South) Jones. She married Carl F. “Jim” Stanley on January 25, 1944 in Princeton.

Adeline and her husband Jim owned and operated Jim’s Live Bait in Princeton until 1976 when their son Lance took over the business. They built a new home east of Zimmerman where they resided until they moved back to Princeton in 1982. Adeline and Jim purchased a minihome and enjoyed being snowbirds for about six years. They spent winters near Corpus Christi, TX but also enjoyed visiting friends and family in Missouri, Oklahoma and Louisiana. She is member of Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Princeton and was very active in the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary in Princton.

Adeline is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Richard) Beer of Warba; sons, Lance (Linda) of Princeton; David (Leighann) of Brooklyn Park 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim in 2005, infant son, Carl Lester, daughter, Cynthia Hoppe, siblings, Wallace, Buelah, Clara, Leona and an infant sister, LaVonne.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Princeton. Burial will be in St. Edward’s Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Tuesday at the Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in Princeton and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Parish Prayers will be at 6PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Princeton.
