Absentee Voting Open For Stearns County Special Election

MELROSE - There's a special election in Western Stearns County next week.

Dave Gamradt of Sauk Centre and Steve L. Notch of Freeport are vying for the open County Commissioners seat in District 5.

Polls will be open on Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The Stearns County Auditor's Office and the Clerk's Office in Melrose will also be open extra hours for absentee voting.  They'll be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and until 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

The District five seat was previously held by Don Otto, who died of cancer in August.
