Absentee Voting Begins Today

ST. CLOUD - The election is still several weeks away, but you can vote starting today (Friday).  This is the first day of absentee voting.

Stearns County residents can cast their ballot in person at the Auditor-Treasurer's Office in downtown St. Cloud.  Hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  You can also cast your ballot by mail. You can get a ballot application on the county's website.

In order to vote by absentee ballot, certain requirements must be met, such as not being in your precinct on election day, illness or disability, or serving as an election judge in another precinct.

The last day to cast an absentee ballot is Monday, November 5th.
