ST. CLOUD - "Ninjas United" owner Kevin Hogan says he'll open a St. Cloud location in January. He opened his first gym in Buffalo in 2014, and he has a second location in Edina. Hogan plans to add a fourth and fifth location next year as well.

Hogan says "Ninjas United" offer hybrid classes.

Fifty percent of the time you'll spend exploring the obstacles on  your own, and the other 50 percent of the time is structured.  A lot of people enjoy focusing on specific obstacles for the entire class.

Hogan says the St. Cloud location will most closely reflect the obstacles you see on the popular NBC TV show "American Ninja Warrior", a show Hogan knows quite well.

I competed last year in season 7 and this year in season 8.  Both years I was able to complete the course and get up that warped wall and hit that buzzer.

Hogan says ninja training is an opportunity to push yourself to another level.

I think a lot of people sell themselves short and say "I can't do that, I can't even do a pull-up, so why even try?", I say give us a shot, we've got great coaches and they'll get you started.

"Ninjas United" will be on Roosevelt Road, next door to Airmaxx Trampoline Park.
