Man held in Duluth slaying
by The Associated Press

DULUTH -- A Duluth man is being held in the St. Louis County jail in connection with a shooting death.

The 46-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night a few hours after the shooting at a laundromat.

Court records in Minnesota and Wisconsin show that he has been charged in the past for disorderly conduct, driving after revocation and no proof of insurance, failure to pay a cab fare and obstructing justice.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Hillside Laundromat at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday. Officers found the body of an apparent shooting victim lying in the laundromat's entryway.

An autopsy Wednesday gave the preliminarily cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim's name hasn't been released.
