2 charged in death of man found near Mississippi River

MINNEAPOLIS -- Two people have been charged in the death of a 38-year-old man who was found near the Mississippi River in Minneapolis.
The Hennepin County Attorney's Office charged Mattie Ann Grassrope and Adam Charles Heldt on Wednesday in the death of Robert Anthony Bavinck. Heldt is charged with second-degree murder and Grassrope is charged with aiding an offender.
Authorities found Bavinck's body on Friday night near a homeless camp on the river.
Both suspects are in the Hennepin County jail.
