The St. Cloud River Bats took advantage of some Mankato mistakes in route to a 9-3 win at Mankato Wednesday night.  St. Cloud scored 6 unearned runs in the game.  Cole Cook threw the first 6 innings with 2 earned runs allowed to get the win and improve to 2-2.  Kevin Johnson went 3-4 with a run scored and 2 RBIs and Preston Hale added 3 hits for the Bats.  St. Cloud is 8-8 in the 2nd half of the season and will begin a 7-game homestand and 3-game series with Brainerd tonight with a doubleheader.   The first game is the completion of their home opener that was suspended against Brainerd in a scoreless tie after just 1-half inning.  The first game begins at 6:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:35.  A 7-inning game will be played following the first game.
