The St. Cloud River Bats stopped their 8-game losing streak with a 5-1 win at Mankato against the Moon Dogs.  The Bats scored 5 times in the 7th inning led by a grand slam homerun by Kevin Johnson.  Johnson was 2-4 with a homerun and 4 RBIs.  Brian Humphries went 1-5 with an RBI for St. Cloud.  John Atteo threw 7 innings with 4 hits and 1 earned run to get the win and improve to 6-1.  The Bats are 7-8 in the 2nd half of the season and trail 2nd half North Division leader, Thunder Bay by 3 games.  St. Cloud is 25-23 overall.  The Bats play at Mankato again tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
