The River Bats suffered their 5th straight loss Friday falling 8-7 in 11 innings to Thunder Bay at Joe Faber Field.  St. Cloud scored 5 times in the 4th inning before Thunder Bay put up 6 runs in the 5th.  St. Cloud went up 7-6 in the 7th inning but Thunder Bay tied the game at 7 in the 8th inning and won it in the 11th.  Derek McCallum led the Bats at the plate going 5-6 with 3 runs scored, Brian Humphries added 3 hits and 2 RBIs and both Preston Hale and Steve Cochrane had 2 hits and 1 RBI.  St. Cloud falls to 6-5 in the 2nd half of the season and 24-20 overall.  The Bats closes down the 4-gamd homestand tonight against Thunder Bay at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
