The St. Cloud River Bats signed 4 players for the 2008 season.  The additions are UCLA infielder Niko Gallego, Xavier slugger Zac Richard and right-handers Tyler Sykes, Xavier Esquivel  and Ryan Sheldon.  Gallego is the son of former Oakland A's infielder Mike Gallego.    The River Bats are the defending Northwood League champions and will begin the 2008 season May 29 at Brainerd.  The home opener is May 30 at Joe Faber Field.  Hear all 68 games plus the playoffs on AM 1390-the Fan.
