.  The Pearson family says online pharmacies are shipping prescription narcotics through the mail without much oversight.  Justin's father, Dan Pearson says prescription drug abuse has grown to the second-largest drug abuse problem in America behind only marijuana.  Yet, he says many people aren't aware of the problem.

The Stearns County Household Hazardous Waste truck is ready to hit the road for another season. The truck travels to cities around the county, collecting hazardous products. Items that you can through into the truck include: paints, cleaners, chemicals, and fluorescent bulbs. Items that will NOT be accepted include: used motor oil, furniture, tires, and appliances. How to use the recycling program in St. Cloud
St. Cloud's recycling program is collecting more pop cans, plastic bottles, and newspapers than ever. Arne Thell is the city's Public Works Maintenance Supervisor. He says the city has made a few changes to their recycling program since it was first started in 1991, so it's now easier than ever to recycle.  Still, Thell says only about 30-percent of the products that are recyclable are being recycled by city residents. 13-year-old Taylor Strand of Sauk Rapids was burned on over 70-percent of her body at a bon fire on April 5th. Strand remains in critical but stable condition at the Hennepin County Medical Center. A website has been set-up for her here.
