More families are in need of school supplies this year

ST. CLOUD -- With higher food and gas prices this year, many families will be cutting back on back-to-school shopping.
Kathryn Stolpman is a spokeswoman for Catholic Charities. She says you can help these families in need by donating money, or actual school supplies, to their "Back to School Drive".
She says since their numbers for people using the food shelf is up, they expect their numbers for people in need of school supplies to be up, as well. They also have a need, this year, for children's socks and underwear.
You can stop by Catholic Charities West Campus and drop off donations, or donate online. All donations will be accepted until the end of August.
